Start On the Path to Your Future

Cosmetology is more than a career path. It’s a pathway to creativity, self-expression, and helping people feel their best. Wade Gordon Hairdressing Academy provides the structure and support to begin your journey. We guide you through a hands-on experience that blends technique and artistry.

Scissors, makeup, and polish are our tools. The face, hair, and nails are our canvas

As a student, you can become part of a community. You can learn alongside like-minded students while experienced educators help you gain real experience. The goal is to help you feel confident as you prepare to sit for the state licensure exam and pursue a future in cosmetology.

The Cosmetology School Experience

Your journey in cosmetology begins with a community that supports you every step of the way from the moment you walk through the door. Wade Gordon Hairdressing Academy provides a space where your creativity can build future opportunities. Build your confidence as you gain practical experience and learn various skills, from hair design to skin and nail care. You can also connect with industry professionals and have networking opportunities that could open doors after you graduate.

Our Cosmetology Program includes either 1,000 clock hours of training in our Texas program or 1,500 clock hours in our Oklahoma program.

Both are divided into three phases. In phase 1, you can learn the foundations of cosmetology and set your career goals. Phase 2 is about honing your technique, practicing on mannequins, and preparing for hands-on testing. By phase 3, you can apply business knowledge and refine your skills. Each phase brings you closer to a future in beauty.

The well-rounded training you receive can help prepare you to sit for the state licensure exam while developing skills relevant to today’s salon environment.

At Wade Gordon Hairdressing Academy, you’re not just learning about the technical side of beauty. We want to help you find your style, voice, and direction.

“This school is wonderful!”
The instructors always take the time to make sure you understand the material and when students test onto the floor they always give them the confidence and guidance they need to succeed on their model and future clients.

“I’ve made some friendships I hope to keep for the rest of my life!”
My favorite part about coming into Wade Gordon every day is seeing my friends. I don’t ever know who’s going to sit in my chair or what it’s going to go like or what I’m going to learn so that’s exciting to me.

They want to see you succeed. Also, very hands on which makes it exciting to want to keep coming back.
