The Mission of the Wade Gordon Hairdressing Academy is to prepare students for licensing, to educate, and produce highly desirable and employable graduates, thereby cultivating the profession of hairdressing as a whole.

Objective

The objective for our courses is to surpass the criteria necessary for students to meet state guidelines and sit for the required state licensure exam. Yes! We highly encourage all prospective students to book a tour at one of our campuses. A tour gives you the chance to meet some of our instructors, see students in action, and get a feel for what life is like at Wade Gordon Hairdressing Academy. It’s the best way to determine if our beauty school is the right place for you to start pursuing a future in the beauty industry.

Do you help with job placement?

While we cannot guarantee job placement, we’re passionate about helping students pursue their career goals. We offer regular networking events, salon tours, and opportunities to connect with local professionals. We want to help you form strong connections within the industry, a stunning portfolio of work, and a clear sense of direction about where your future is headed. We can also help with resumes and interview prep to help you chase your dreams.

What kind of student attends Wade Gordon Hairdressing Academy?

Our students come from all walks of life! Some are fresh out of high school, others are changing careers, and some are pursuing lifelong dreams. If you are motivated and ready to learn, you’ll fit in here. You just need your high school diploma or GED, and you can do the rest with us.

When do your programs start?

Classes begin on the first Monday of every month. We offer rolling admissions, so you can start the admissions process whenever it’s best for you. Our admissions team can help you find the best start date and schedule option to suit your goals.

What schedules do you offer?

We offer flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle:

Monday–Wednesday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (22.5 hours/week)
Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM (30 hours/week)
Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM (35 hours/week)

You may be able to switch schedules during your program depending on your standing, availability, and space. No matter which schedule you choose, you’ll get the same quality education.
